Hello, and welcome to Writing Incarnate!  This website is a source for my writings on the internet, and will feature weekly updates with fiction and reviews.  I grew tired of updating on Blogger, Livejournal, and Facebook every so often and have decided to bring it all together on one website.

Who am I?  My name is John D. Kennedy, and I’ve been writing fiction since I was in elementary school and started writing small newspapers with my sister on our old Windows computer.  We featured such amazing things as Godzilla attacking and the like.  As I got older, I moved on to bigger and (hopefully) better things, and now I write professionally for RPG companies and review independent comics at www.comicbulletins.com.  I’m working on finishing my first novel and I’m writing fiction for another company that will see print later on this year!

What else can I say about me?  I’m not one to write a big pretentious post about myself nor am I going to slam others that do.  I guess I can just sum things up with a list, which is what I love to do anyways:

1. I’m a hardcore nerd.  DEAL WITH IT!
2. I have a puggle named Cokie and a cat named Flot.
3. I temp, hold boom mics for a living, and other odd jobs to make the rent.
4. Graduated from Purdue with a degree in liberal arts
5. I tend to nerd things up when I speak but screw it, I enjoy things like MST3K and Last Starfighter.
6. I’m hard of hearing but not deaf, so please do not be offended if I ask you to repeat yourself and do not mess with me about my hearing.  I also sometimes speak loudly because I have trouble matching other people’s pitches.
7.  I’m a liberal with conservative leanings, or a conservative with liberal leanings.  As one of my friend’s said, “This is America!  You guys love the team thing, you’re either Red or Blue, Democrat or Republican.  You just have to pick a side!”
8. I’m not fond of cynical people.  You have all the right in the world to voice your complaints about what is wrong with the world, but if you are overly negative or post nothing but depressing things all the time then I’m probably going to tune you out.
9. I love my family, and my little nephew is awesome.
10. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS TEN!!!
